Factors Influencing the Awareness of HIV/AIDS among Ever Married Women in Bangladesh

The main focus of this research study is to investigate the determining factors affecting awareness HIV/AIDS among ever married women in Bangladesh. To accomplish task fruitfully, uses nationally representative BDHS 2014 data set. finding illustrates that about 70% respondents have heard AIDS. Among who AIDS, 97.4% and 92.5% them transmission prevention knowledge respectively. Bivariate analysis states variables type place residence, division, respondents’ education access mass media are significantly associated with also its knowledge. multivariate hierarchical logistic regression reveals has a significant impact on odds ratio all models indicates highly educated more knowledgeable HIV/AIDS. Type residence region effect HIV/AIDS, Age respondents, husband occupation Finding further reflects use contraceptives predominant factor influencing Therefore, based findings it can be concluded appropriate steps should launched across country raise level such deadly disease for reduction spread Chittagong Univ.
